A Foundation that supports Education…
The Saint-Louis de Gonzague Alumni Foundation Inc. a 501(c)3 tax-exempt non-profit corporation
registered in
Massachusetts, USA (Identification Number: 000819849) and with the IRS
(Internal Revenue Service - United States Dept of Treasury), was created in honor of the
Brothers of Christian Instruction (FIC - Frères de
l'Instruction Chrétienne) who devoted over a century to high quality
education in Haiti.
We are
a group of Alumni of one of their schools, “L’Institution
Saint-Louis de Gonzague”, founded in 1890 and located in the city of Port-au-Prince.
While residing outside of Haiti, we are grateful for the high quality
education received from this institution.
Today, due to aging of professors and lack of religious
vocation, the future of Christian Education in Haiti countries is increasingly
threatened. Our Foundation stands firmly to support projects directed at
maintaining the continuity of the educational mission of these institutions.

VOLUNTEER. Any information submitted to SLGAFi is kept confidential and
will NEVER be communicated to a third-party without your prior authorization in
full respect of US laws.
SLGAFI does not have any structural affiliation with similar Alumni
organizations in the countries (Haiti or elsewhere) where it is carrying its
charitable Mission in the Education sector.
In the best interest of the community, the Foundation will continue to explore
ways to have synergistic and constructive interactions with other organizations
with similar objectives. Such cooperative efforts will always be publicly
acknowledged.
